Why should we choose you as our photographer? 


I know there are a ton of 'us' out there, and I'm glad your doing your homework. Choosing a photographer for your family portraits is VERY important. We all have our own styles, and we are all different. I ONLY shoot families, children, and newborns so I'm well adapted with kids, and I have two of my own. I have a TON of patience, so if your afraid of your little ones acting up, don't worry :)

I strive for making your family feel comfortable, even the husbands who HATE getting their photos done. I am goofy, and loud, and love to make the little ones laugh. I only shoot real smiles, so I'm very busy during the session trying to capture it, and their little personalities. Serious faces are also a favorite of mine.

Remember pick your photographer to which style you love, and remember quality over quantity is always what you want. That is why the amount of photos you will keep from this session is only 10-20. Reason being is because I edit them extensively. I get rid of the acne you want covered up, the little lines you hate, the little bulges you try to hide, the bruises or scratches on your little ones faces, and I can even fill swap heads for the little ones when I can to get all of you smiling. You will also be able to download the images you choose so you can KEEP them forever, and print out as many as you like for all of your family members.  So after all that, I hope I fit your style, and hope to meet you someday! 



How do I book a session?


Click on the contact section and let me know you are interested. We will then discuss dates for your session, and I will not save that date until I receive the session fee as the deposit. I will then send you a getting to know you questionnaire to find out about your family. If it is for a newborn session, I will send you a newborn prep packet through email. 

I accept Pay Pal, Checks and Credit Cards for the deposit. 


What do we wear for our session?


Think coordinating outfits, rather than all matchy-match. Avoid trendy patterns, logos, and neon colors. I will also discuss with you in depth everything down to the shoes before your session. I will also share my cell phone number with you so you can send me photos of the outfits! I have also designed a "what to wear" guide to help you with everything down to the shoes! I will email that to you once I get your deposit.


Where do we go to shoot our photos?


Family sessions are always done at an outdoor location based on your personal style and my recommendations. If you have a place in mind outside of a 30 mile radius from my home, there will be an additional fee.

For my newborn sessions they are done in my studio in Clifton Park.


How long will it take to receive my online gallery?


2-3 weeks depending on the time of year. During the fall time, its usually the 3 week mark. But I always give you a 'sneak peek' within 24-48 hours. Your photos will be displayed in a password encrypted private gallery. 



When is the best time to a newborn session?


To get the sweet squishy poses we need to do it ASAP after birth. It is best to do it within 12 days old. I ask to contact me BEFORE you leave the hospital so we can make arrangements for the session.

How long in advance should I book? 


If you are pregnant and wanting to book a newborn session, as soon as you find out your due date you can contact me. The newborn session needs to be done between 5-14 days old to get those smushy poses. If you wait till after the baby is born to book with me, I will try my hardest to fit you in before that window is passed.

Family sessions can book weeks or up to months in advance. My schedule is open all year so I'm able to book way ahead. 



What happens if it rains?


I keep a very close eye on the weather when I have a scheduled session. If there is going to be rain or strong winds we will reschedule.


What happens if one of my children get sick?


I ask to contact me as soon as possible and we will reschedule.
